Twenty-Twenty You is a 4-week guide to set you up for success when it comes to nourishing your body and mind!
In this program, you'll get all the tools you need to smoothly transition into a healthy routine that works for you. This program focuses on:
- Nourishing the body with fresh and wholesome foods
- Cherishing the body with intentional and restorative movement
- Rejuvenating the mind with daily mindfulness practices
It's time to STOP DIETING once and for all and start truly nourishing your body with good nutrition!
Want to know how? Well, simple! The answer lies in going back to the kitchen.
Yes, that's right! All the answers to your questions about healthy eating, the secret sauce to amazing nutrition. It all begins in the kitchen. By learning where your food is coming from and what's going into your dishes. By understanding the effects that foods have on your body. Whether something you have is doing you good or not so much. And the BEST and most empowering way of doing this is by cooking your meals.
Think about it. You have full control over what goes in your food and therefore inside your body. You get to make the call whether adding a little more of this or that.
You might be hesitant if cooking was never your forte. But here's the thing, you don't have to be a chef to whip up simple and nourishing dishes. You also don't have to spend hours on the kitchen slaving away. And you especially don't have to spend a fortune in groceries. All you need are the right tools to help you get organized.
The hardest part of change is taking that first step. And I'm here to hold you're hand to take that leap together!
In Twenty-Twenty You I am going to set you up for success in your healthy eating journey. No more jumping from frustrating diet to frustrating diet. I'm here to empower you in the kitchen and to help you get back the reins of your health.
The nutrition component of the program includes:
- Over 30 recipes to choose from
- Step-by-step to help you get organized
- A how-to on planning your weekly menu
- Simple tools to shop smart (and healthy)
- 4-week meal plan
- Multiple printable templates
Working out should never feel like a punishment. The purpose of movement is not to "fix" our bodies or reverse the "damage" caused by what we eat. Being active is just part of being human. Our bodies are capable of doing amazing things. And it's time that you cherish and love it with intentional and restorative movement.
I've partnered up with expert personal trainer (and friend) Erik Burian to create the fitness component of this program. Erik has designed weekly workouts for you to help you move in a way that honors what your body is capable of doing. We will focus on simple ways that you can strengthen your body with minimal equipment required. And most importantly, you'll also learn how to move CORRECTLY. Because part of honoring your body through movement, is making sure that you are not causing more harm than good. How many of us have jumped on workouts only to end up hurt?
The fitness component of the program includes:
- Weekly workouts that require minimal equipment
- Instructions and images demonstrating how to properly complete workout
Erik J. Burian is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He's also a personal trainer with a focus on sports performance, weight management, and corrective strategies for the impaired, as well as the aging population. Erik's journey has included not only consulting for women's and men's cross-country and women's cheersquad, but also presenting at cheerleading conferences on injuries in the sport of cheersquad. He is currently involved in working with groups going through drug and alcohol addiction. Erik's passions include any new outdoors adventure, strength training & conditioning, meditating and relaxing, and enjoying a good book, typically a biography of a great figure in human history.
If you're someone that has attempted meditating but wasn't able to quite get it to work for you, you're definitely in the right place!
Meditation can feel quite intimidating. Attempting to quiet the monkey mind can seem like one of the toughest things. But at the same time, we know that mindfulness and meditation are extremely important for our overall well-being. Countless studies show how the body greatly benefits from taking just a few minutes every day to focus on the breath and calm the mind.
That's why Twenty-Twenty You includes weekly meditation and mindfulness practices. Every week you'll explore with a different meditation strategy so you learn what works for you. From breathing to candle and movement meditation. Because meditation can look differently from person to person. What's important is not how you do it, but practicing daily.
The mindfulness component of the program includes:
- Weekly meditation practices to complete
- Different strategies to meditate
- Printable template of the week activities
